What are pin grades?
Every enamel pin is handmade , so pins may have very tiny flaws to noticeable flaws — no pin is perfect. The pin grade defines the condition of the pin. We grade our pins by this grading policy.
✿ A grade:
These pins are the best of the batch. They have little to no flaws, and even if they do, they are only noticeable upon close inspection.
✿ B grade:
These pins have small noticeable flaws, more than A grade. These flaws may include: specks of dust, bubbles, scratches, disfigured metal or small areas of underfilled enamel. They are sold at a discounted price.
They are perfect for display on pin boards, ita bags or everyday wear!
✿ C grade:
These pins have more obvious flaws that are noticeable at first glance. These flaws may include: large specks of dust, more bubbles, obvious or deep scratches, disfigured metal, major underfilled enamel or missing screenprinting. They are sold at an even more discounted price.
Still great for those on a budget!
✿ Seconds
These pins have major, very large defects that impede the design. These flaws may include: missing or miscoloured enamel, faulty pin posts, other unexpected problems etc. This is the cheapest pin, and is sold at half or a little over half price of an A grade.
